Initializing FLV Playback component

import mx.video.FLVPlayback;
var flvpl:FLVPlayback;
Stage.showMenu = false;
flvpl._visible=false;

flvpl.contentPath="video_1.flv";

Accessing flvplayback components constraint to the cliplength.. inorder to achieve we gotta find the given cliplength at runtime...

Where given below x is a playhead time and we can find the cliplength by using

flvpl.totalTime()

Here the given 108.5 have been acquired from the totalTime() and operated for some purpose...
On seeing the code...

setInterval(check,500);

The setInterval for checking for playhead on regular interval

stoping movieclips at depth from root..

i had an issue with accessing movieclips from the root.

like
_maintimeline
-ParentMovieClip
- Child Movie Clip1, Child Movie Clip2,Child Movie Clip3....

if i want to stop the child movieclip from root.. i have to call it by the instance name of each of them and to add them in script and put some more weight.

i found a small thing to come over this.. as its given below..


function getpaused() {
for (var i in slide1) {
if (typeof (slide1[i]) == "movieclip")
{
tellTarget (slide1[i])
{
gotoAndStop(_currentframe);
}
}
}
}

function getplayed() {
for (var i in slide1)
{
if (typeof (slide1[i]) == "movieclip")
{
tellTarget (slide1[i])
{
gotoAndPlay(_currentframe);
}
}
}

where the function getpaused() will refer the current movieclip slide1 and traverse the movieclip to check for the tyupe of the children. if the children is a movie clip, then it will be stopped at the current frame. and funciton getplayed() will do the vise verse..

i would be grateful if there is any further enhancements can be done in this.
